First Day of School *08

I have TWO FULL DAYERS!

Brinley was so excited for school to start. She would wake up every day, for the last week, telling me "3 more days mom!" "Two more days mom!" ....

We woke up on Wednesday and the first thing out of her mouth was "Are we late?" We usually are late to everything, but not today.

Jentry was excited too but shes an old pro at this so she didnt show her excitement like Brinley did.

We got the lunches packed, dressed in new clothes, breakfast ate, hair done, teeth brushed.. and off we went!

We walked Jentry to her class. I tried to take a cute picture of her underneath her teachers name plate at the door. Kids had to stop and wait for me to take the picture and Jentry was none too pleased that I was taking pictures in front of her classmates. I told her to smile and this is what I got...the "GET OUT OF HERE MOM" look. Ill take what I can get.

Then me and Chase walked Brinley to her class. I went to take her picture but of course, she had to look at everyone walking by, so shes not even looking at the camera. Oh well.

I had forgotten to show Brinley where she hung her backpack and where her cubby was the day before at the open house so we went in and did that. And then left...

....
....
....

It was a long day.

But luckily we had Uncle Todd here to keep us company.. We went up the to Reservior. Todd had never been there and wanted to see it.

The boys decided it would be great fun to play in the water.

The girls finally came home and had had a great day. Brinley said she made a friend...just didnt know what her name was. Im sure they will be great friends. ;-)

Jentry came home talking about all the books she gets to read.

Today was a bit harder sending them off. They rode their bikes to school and it was a different feeling seeing little Brinley tag along with Jentry for a ride to school. Its usually just Jentry I send off.

Its still quiet...the boys are still asleep...

I think I could get used to this....

Dedicated Hunter...or not....

This Saturday started out as any other Saturday. Did a little yard work, did a little house work, did a little car work (not me of course). Then my dad called for his daily check in. Asked if we were going to go out that night for the archery hunt? Ummmmm doesnt that start...NEXT WEEK? So I acted like we knew what was going on... and said, I didnt know if we were going to go out or not. After I hung up I quickly ran to the computer to check what was the opening day of the hunt. Sure enough, it was Saturday August 16. I went out to tell Scott. I said "Did you know today is the opening day of the deer hunt?
Scott: Whatever.
Leslie: Whatever!!
Scott: You're such a liar.
Leslie: Wanna bet me a hundred bucks.
Scott: Yeah, Ill bet ya a hundred bucks.

He ran in here to check on the computer. I still had the screen up. He still didnt believe it and went and looked at other pages.

Sure enough.

That sent him into a whirl wind!

Scott: "I cant believe I didnt know the opening of the deer hunt! They never do it this early in August."

Leslie: Sure they do, They did it on the day Blair and Mandy got married. Well today is their anniversary.

Scott frantically looking at his calendar on his phone scrolling back to last year. "Oh, it was on the 18th last year! I cant believe I didnt know!!"

He called everyone looking for a friend to go on the night hunt with.

There I sat.

After he had exhausted all other options. I said..."well...how about me. Can I go with ya?"

"You would wanna go?"

I think he forgot that I like to do stuff like that too. Im just always the one watching the kids.

I told him to call his mom and see if she was available to watch the kids while we went.

She was!

So she came and picked up the kids and off we went to Walsburg.

With no kids. YAY!

We got up there about 5. Got the four-wheeler out

And off we went.
We didnt see many deer...not even one buck.

But I didnt mind. It was QUIET!! And we got to TALK.

It was nice.

Ill have to do it again in another five years when Im invited. And, Im still waiting on my hundred bucks...

Brinleyism

Today Brinley was taking a shower and I was doing my hair. I heard the shower turn off so I said "Did you make sure to wash your hair?" Then I hear "dang it! I forgot to rinse out my air conditioner." She almost had it right. ;-)

Tyism #1

If you have read through this blog you know I have Brinleyism's of funny things she says. Well now that Ty has started to talk, he is coming up with some of his own.

The other day he lifted his shirt, pointed to his ribs and said "Mom, are these my ribbons?" (ribs). It took me a few times having him say it to figure out what he was saying. So now we call them ribbons. Just like we call when we get the chills..."Ive got the chisels" From Brinley.

Im sure we will have many more Ty-isms coming up.

"Just one more ride"

On Wednesday my mom and dad were nice enough to take all the grand kids to Liberty Land. This is that place that you see right off of the freeway that has the Mt. Rushmore faces. (For you Utahns) My mom has been wanting to take the kids there since before it even opened. So Wednesday was our day.
We got there at about 1 pm or so and stayed until around 6 or 7. Its like a big Trafalga (also for you Utahns. They have airplanes, a mini (fast) roller coaster, go carts, bumper boats, a rocket thing that, a boat that swings you from side to side and a train. We went on a great day! There was hardly anyone there and each attendant was manning a few of the rides. So if you would just go to a ride then they would run over and start it for you. No waiting in lines. NIIIIICE. The kids loved it!!! It was even a nice day and not TOO hot. (a little hot, but we survived). Ty was so excited to ride in anything that his sisters would take him on (which was everything). My mom about died when they got on the roller coaster. But everyone survived. Much to her amazement. Though I dont think she would have let them go on it again if they had asked. I think she was still having panic attacks over it even after we left. The kids had a great time and are already asking when they get to go back.
We tried to leave I think 20 times...but Grandpa kept saying...one more ride, one more ride. Finally I had to take Chase out and wait for them in the car so grandpa could put the other kids on "One (or 5) more ride."

It was a good day.

Too Many Pictures???

Today I went to Mandys house to just hang out while the kids played in the pool. I brought my camera thinking I could take some cute pictures...but silly me, forgot my memory card.

On the way home I was thinking about it and I thought... well, I dont have to actually take pictures EVERY single day. I have too many anyway. I dont even print them out all that often, and then when I do...its like thousands. Its not that bad that I missed out on one fun thing, right?

So then Im going through my blog list tonight checking out everyones blog and I come to this one http://leslieandaaron.blogspot.com/ Ive been reading this blog for a long time. Dont know how I found it. Probably blog surfing, noticed her name was Leslie, clicked on it. Im sure it went something like that. But she lost her husband about 8 months ago. I dont know how he died...but Im amazed at all the pictures she has of them doing stuff together. I mean she has tons of pictures of her husband. But to her, Im sure its not enough. Im sure she would have loved to have more.

Anyway, where Im going with all of this is...I will still keep taking my 100 pictures a day and Im not going to feel guilty about it anymore. Cause you can never have enough pictures, right?

Breaking Dawn

Jentry looooves the Twilight Series. She has read all three books two times. And for a 10 year old, reading that much, I think is pretty darn good. She has begged me and begged me to read them and finally I gave in. I like them alot. Some parts are a little teenagerish...but thats ok. All in all, I think they are great books! Anyway, as most of you know, the 4th book, Breaking Dawn came out at 12:01 August 2nd. I suprised Jentry by telling her that we would go stand in line at the Payson walmart (sounds pretty red-neckish when you say it lol) and get the book. She couldnt have been more excited.

We got there at 11 pm. I brought my sister in law Missy and Jentrys two cousins Maddie and Shelbey. Maddie and Missy have read the books and so they were excited to get the next one too...but Shelbey..she took the cake. She hasnt read them (Shes only 8) But I think she was the most excited one there. She had me cracking up the whole time. She thought it was the most exciting thing ever.

We met up with my cousin Mandy and her two sister in laws and cousin in law. So we had ourselves a good little group.

My aunt also showed up at about 11:45 with her sister and neice. But she had to leave after her husband called and said they were evacuating their house because of a fire that had broken out above their home. (no worries, everything turned out to be ok)

Anyway, we were able to get the book and Jentry is about half way done with it. I started reading last night and am about to page 120. Of course, Maddie is done. And I think Melissa is getting there. Mandy...Im sure shes still on chapter 2. JUST KIDDING MANDY!

Congratulations Lacey!!!

I got to see a baby be born!!!

I have wanted to do this for a long time. I know, some of you may think thats totally disgusting (probably the ones without kids) but to me, it was AMAZING!!!

Its a totally different experience when you arent the one in the bed.

I met Lacey (my cousin) at the hospital on Saturday at about noon. She had been in there since 8 am and was being induced. It was a long day of waiting. They broke her water at 2:00 and I thought things would go a little faster then they did...but its not like you can rush this process.

Little Mylee Michelle was born at 7:14 pm
7 lbs 11 oz (I guessed right)
19 inches.

I have a whole new respect for what our bodies have to go through to get a baby here. Its nothing short of a miracle.

Yee Haw

To celebrate Pioneers Day we took the kids to the rodeo. Last year we tried to get tickets but they were sold out. This year they did them online so we were able to get tickets! We went on Monday night and took all of the kids but Chase. I knew he wouldn't do well there and Id probably have a panic attack trying to hold him and not let him slip through the bleachers. (is that what they are called?) So Jamie watched him for us. The kids loved the rodeo. Next year Ill make sure to get better seats tho because we couldnt see much of the bull riding. The best part. But other then that it was good! The clown came out to do his 'half time' show and he did some motorcycle riding. Mr Motorcycle (Ty) himself, was scared. He was litterally shaking because when the guy jumped his motorcycle some kind of pyrotechnic thingy went off and made a big bang. He didnt like that one bit. I had to tell him the motorcycle guy was trying to be funny, not scary. After the clown left the arena he calmed down. A few minutes later the clown came back and Ty was telling me... "NO YELLOW HAT MAN!!!" I had to try to make light of it again. Now he tells me the "Yellow hat man nice". The rodeo lasted longer then I expected (we didnt get home until almost midnight) but it was still a great time!!!

Wanna Jump?

We got a trampoline a few days ago and finally got it all the way up, with the net today. The kids are so excited!! Jamie actually bought it for her house but it ended up being too big. So she had to get the size smaller. She asked us if we wanted it. OF COURSE!!!

Hopefully we can keep the broken bones to a minnimum.

Tooth #2....

Brinley lost her second tooth. And when I say lost, I mean lost.

She was eating a slice of cheese. All the sudden she looked up at me with her big ol eyes and said, "Did I lose my tooth?" Sure enough, she had!! She'd lost it all the way down to her belly. She was about beside herself until I told her that the tooth fairy would still come! Lets hope the tooth fairy remembers. She forgets sometimes.

'KSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS'

This is how Chase has learned how to say "Thanks". It is so cute. I know this won't last long and he will learn to say it right so I just wanted to write this down so I remembered it.

Piano Lessons!!!

Jentry has started taking piano lessons. Shes wanted to for a long time...but lazy mom keeps forgetting to ask if the piano teacher has any openings. Well I went to the cannery with a bunch of ladies and 'Piano Teacher' ( Loni Wilson) was there. So that was my chance!!! She said she had one more opening. WAHOO!

So Jentry started piano lessons on Thursday. She goes every week and then once a month they also have group lessons with people at her same level.

The private lessons are only a half an hour at a time but boy did she teach her a ton just in that thirty minutes. She was playing a song by the time we left.

Jentry is loving it! She even begs to play all the time!! I hope she keeps this up!!

Haircuts for Everyone...

Ok not everyone...but just about.

I stopped by Jamies to drop Jentry off for a sleepover and asked her if I could set up some appts for everyone (except me) to get a hair cut. Of course she is WAY TOO NICE and said...well lets do them all right now. Jentry has been wanting to get her hair cut for awhile now because its been giving her headaches. And of course, cute do's are always nice for the summer!
Brinley went first and got a cute a-line cut.

Then the boys got their regular do's.

And then Jentry got her A-line.

Jamie got all done with it and said...well ok, do you want me to straiten it. YOU NEVER ASK JENTRY IF SHE WANTS HER HAIR STRAIGTENED!! The answer is ALWAYS YES YES YES! So of course Jamie was way too nice again and spent 30 minutes blowing and straightening her hair. BUT ITS SOOOOOOOOO CUTE! I love it! I love this type of cut on her. Last time she got this cut she was five...so its been awhile.

And since Jentrys hair turned out so cute...she started a chain reaction. Then Shelbey and Maddie wanted their hair cut like Jentrys. Mind you, Maddies hair was almost to her butt and Shelbeys wasnt far behind.

I think Jamie almost cried cutting their hair off. Ok, I know she almost did. But what a memory she made... All three cousins getting their hair cut like twiners!!! Maddie even had more then enuff to donate to Locks of Love. I dont know if Jamie will ever invite us over again after that. ;-)

4th of July!

We had a great fourth! We were gone most the day. We woke up to go to the parade in Provo. I had never taken the kids to a parade and with my cousins now living in my Great Aunts old house, right on Center Street I had to take this oportunity to go down there and see what they thought of the parade.

The parade was actually pretty good. It could be because I havent been to one in YEARS. But it was a little overcast so it wasn't scorching hot and the kids absolutely loved it. Ty was in love with all the COPS and Scott was excited because he got to see Glenn Beck and the military. The Governor was also there. Which was also a suprise.

After the parade we came home real quick and I made a salad to take to my parents for later and Scott and the boys slept while I hurried and cleaned up the kitchen. Then when the boys got up...off we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Ty was very excited to go up there.

We had a great dinner up there of steaks and potatoes (my favorite!)

Then the kids played in the hot tub while Scott slept again (oh yeah, did I mention hes waiting to have a root canal on Monday so his tooth has been bugging him a whole lot!)

Then we waited around for the Riverton City Fireworks. Went to my parents friends house that is right across the street from the park that puts them off. Ty looooooved it. He was sitting in my moms friends lap oooohing and awwing the whole time. It was very cute to see him loving the fire works.

THEN... we went to IHOP. It was only midnight by then. LOL So by the time we got home it was 1 am. Everyone was too pooped to poop but I think everyone had a great time!!!

By the way, have I ever mentioned that 4th of July is my most favorite holiday? I love it. The 24th of July (Pioneers day, for all you out of staters) comes in a close second!! I just love the summer holidays...BBQ's...playing outside. Just love it all.

I have a lot of pictures from the fourth so I just did another slide show. Watch if you are bored. :-)

This is what you call efficency

Ty has learned how to do laundry. And its a good thing. I need all the help I can get with all of these kids running around everywhere. His new job is to unload the washer, into the dryer. And he can do it "all myself!". He can even push the two buttons it takes to turn the dryer on. Niiiiice!!! (And yes, you must ALWAYS wear a cars helmet, cars shoes and a diaper when doing laundry)

Brinley lost her first tooth!!!

On..oh what day was it.. Friday I think it was...

We went to Camilles. I havent been to her house in forever. But we were bored since Scott was gone to Youth Conference and she was bored too. So I decided to take the kids to a field trip to the park with her. We had a great time at the park and Chase actually swung in the swing for the first time without screaming. He loved it.

So Brinley had had a wiggely tooth for forever. But I told her she couldnt lose it until Saturday when Scott would be home with my camera. She didnt listen.

We went to the Orem Arctic Circle for lunch after the park. Brinley and Ty went outside and ate while me and Jentry ate inside. Brinley comes in with something in her hand. I thought it was a piece of fat from the hamburger that she was showing me until I looked closer and saw that it was her tooth! I kinda very loudly (didnt know I was talking so loud) said "YOU LOST YOUR TOOTH!!!" Everyone looks over at us. The girl that was sweeping the floor came over and said, "WOW!! You lost your tooth? That is so cool!!!" She then went up to the front of the store and got them all a sucker and told Brinley what a big deal it was to lose a tooth. Brinley couldnt have been more excited.

Of course I didnt have my camera with me so I had to take a picture with my phone. Today is the first day Ive thought to take a picture. So excuse the messy hair-do.

This was the night that I ended up taking Chase to the hospital so I didnt even get to see the tooth fairy come to her for the first time. Missy did. Thanks Missy!!!

Busy Day...

Yesterday was a busy but fun day...

We started the day off by going to the free summer movie with the Townsend Clan, Frederick Clan, and Our Clan. It was Monsters Inc. The kids didnt last. I think there were too many little ones and they'd already seen the movie 100 times so it wasnt as fun as last time we went.

Then we came home just long enuff to get into our swimming suits and off we went to the Provo Pool. I was still anxious to go there because thats where Jentry got that dang crypto bug last year that she is still having trouble with (dr appt on Friday). But I thought since its the beginning of the swimming season and hopefully they installed new filters...maybe we could get away with it this time.

Lisa was sooooo nice to offer to babysit Chase while we went. I know he would have had fun but I think it would have been short lived. And it gave me time just to play with Ty. So off we went to the pool with The Townsend Clan, The Jasperson Clan, Our Clan and Livvy

Ty went down the waterslides with me twice and he loooooooved it. The first time he was clenching onto my fingers on the way down saying "So Fun!" He would put his head under the water and come up wide eyed saying "I got my hair wet!" When we first got into the pool and he got his shorts wet he kept trying to take them off telling me his pants were wet. He couldnt understand that they were supposed to be wet.

We had a great day. The girls kept telling me thank you all the way home. They had had so much fun!!!

Yuba Slide Show

Yuba Take Two!!!

Alright this was a muuuuuuuuch better day. We went on Saturday . It was hot and breezy. We got there at about 10 or so. Who knows, its vacation...who is keeping time? Bethany and Missy brought two lover boys with them. It was a good day to go to the lake.

We just mostly hung out all day. Took a ride on the boat. This was Chases first time and Ty's second (tho Scott thinks it was his first...we wont tell him it wasnt) The boys wouldnt take a nap all day and I knew the second we put them on the boat they would be zonked. Well, I was half right. Chase fell asleep but Ty didnt fall asleep until we were almost done.

I took pictures of all the kids by their names in the sand. Notice how there are two pictures of Kalvin...and he is by two different names. Im so dumb. I didnt even notice I was taking pictures of the same kid...two different names. And did he tell me? No.

The boys, once again loved the water. they couldnt get enough of it!! I think we should do the Yuba thing more then once a year... hint. ;-)

This kid will be the death of me...

This is just a copy and paste from what I wrote on the boards... but I dont wanna edit right now. Im too tired. So... enjoy...

Yesterday I was cleaning my room. Chase was up by me and he got a blue crayon. He bit the tip off the back. And I looked over at him. Told him.. "Chaaaase!" and went over and got all the pieces out of his mouth. He was gaggy a little like he had some in his throat. So I took him over to the sink and rinsed out his mouth. Gave him a drink. No big deal. I put him down to play and he coughed a little bit. But was fine. Went around playing...and he was wheezing a little bit when he would get worked up. So I picked him up, calmed him down. His wheezing would almost stop. So I would put him down and let him play and the wheezing would start up again. Not really anything that was bothering him.

So of course I get on the computer and ask Alexis. She helps me calm down a little bit. I look up the insta care thats around here for hours and a phone number. I decide to call MIL and ask her what she thinks. She tells me...well just take him to the insta care and see what they say. Ill send down Missy. I call the instacare and ask them if they have time to see a 15 month old. They said WE CLOSE AT EXACTLY EIGHT.

So I just leave Ty and Brinley with Jentry cause I have 30 minutes to get to the instacare and I dont wanna be late and have the door slammed in my face :rolleyes

So I get there. Im telling the receptionist while Im there and shes like...let me go talk to a nurse. So Im like.... oooook. Thinking they are going to tell me Im some paranoid freak and to go home.

The nurse lady comes up and she says we dont have the imaging equipment to help you so you will have to go to the ER. I said... ooook. Do you think this is serious? And Im holding Chase and she leans over and listens (and of course he is not wheezing cause Ive been holding him) and she says...well if it would make you feel better...go to the ER.

Soooo I go out to the car. thinking...what the crap, Im not going to go sit in the ER waiting room for 3 hours for them to tell me hes fine. Im not going. Somehow I find myself on the freeway going to the ER. :rolleyes :lol The whole way cussing myself at how dumb Im making this. But I thought Id already called MIL...she'd be asking me how he was doing...Missy was already down at the house so I might as well go. Thought about turning around 20 times.

Get in there and theres only one patient ahead of me. what the heck...this place is usually paaaaaacked. And on a Friday night? So we get right in. They take two xrays. HE did great on them. The guy said he was the best 15 month old hes ever had and he talks more then any 15 month hes ever heard. I was thinking...well then...if nothing else at least I got a few compliments. :lol

So I go back in the room and a lady dr comes in. She listens to him and she says okkkk Ill be right back after I look at his films. Doesnt act like anythings wrong. So she comes back in and listens to him again and she tells me... "Well his right lung is dimnishing and there is definitely something in there. I cant see anything on the xrays but his breaths are diminishing on the right side. We dont have a pediatric dr. here who can go down and scope it so you will have to go to Primary Childrens for that." Im thinking..holy crap. She said that they would get an IV started and call P.C. So she goes out and I get on the phone with MIL. I tell her all about it and she said...well do you want Les go to up there with you (FIL) cause she was leaving on a trip to Boston. I said...Well I want someone to! Will you call Lisa (SIL). Lisa is the one that is Adrians mom so she stayed up at PC for four months. She knows the ins and outs up there. And I didnt wanna go up there alone. (all this time I havent called Scott. Hes 4 hours away and didnt bring a car so I knew he had no way to get home and he would just FREAK when there was nothing he could do). So Lisa comes to the hospital. They call an ambulance to come transport us. Try to put an IV in. Blew two veins on his one arm and finally got one in his other arm. They had him wrapped in a blanket so he wouldnt flail around. Once that blanket was off of him he wanted nothing to do with it. He was so mad at it. :lol

So the ambulance takes FOREVER. Like 45 minutes. FIL and MIL get there and FIL gives Chase a blessing. The ambulance gets there and they ask me for his car seat. Who would have thought that they needed his carseat. They strapped it to the gurney and we are off. Lisa is driving my car behind the ambulance. Chase slept the whole way in the ambulance. I mean it was like midnight by then so he was beat. I called my parents on the way up there. They were at work. We get to Primaries and get into an ER room. They are PACKED!!! It took an hour and half for a doctor to get to us. She comes in. Listens to him. Acts like its nothing. Says ok...do you know what they are going to do? I said they said they were going to go down with a scope and get it out. She says yeah and tells me she will be back . (she never came back)

then...dr. MCCOOL comes in. Hes like 20 I swear and he was in a daze. Looks like he just woke up. Hes like....(insert teenager surferish talk here) soooooooo Im the resident ENT. What happened? I tell him the story and hes like.. ohhhh so why did he have a crayon? I look over at lisa and look back at him and Im like...ummmm I dont know, he just had it. Hes like...ohhh so what color was it? Im like blue. :para and hes like...ohhhh ok. Soooo we are going to take him to the OR. And Im thinking...YOU? YOU DR MC COOL are going to take My baby to the OR? I look at Lisa and mouth to her... ARE YOU FRICKEN KIDDING ME??? He tells me his boss will be in in a minute. So he leaves and Im like... LiSA!! Is he taking him? And she tells me that it will be his boss that does the surgery...its ok! So DR MC COOL (seriously thats his name) came to take him up and he is still hooked to the iv. I tell him that he needs to unhook it. He comes and looks at it like its a foreign object. Is turning the tube back and forth. And says... Well maybe I should come get the nurse to do this. I said yea...that would be good. Nurse comes and un hooks us. So Im taking him up to the OR. We get up there and the anestesiologist comes and talks to me... and then hes like...ok and reaches out for him. Im thinking...already? You? The anestesiologist takes him??? And off he went. My stomach was now offically SICK! So me and Lisa go to the waiting room. He tells us it will take 30-40 minutes. About 25-30 minutes go by and here comes Dr Bennett and Dr McCool. I look at Lisa and said...that was fast...is that good news or bad news? She tells me good. So they come in and hand me a chunk of blue crayon in a bottle. And this picture

Said that it was in his right lung. Air was able to get past it but it was right in the middle

Dr McCool actually turned out cool and knew what he was talking about now so that made me feel better.

I went into recovery room and he was screaminnnnng. The nurse was holding him. The second I took him he stopped. They got him a cup of AJ and he guzzled that down like no tomorrow (he hadnt eaten since 4 the day before). Then he just fell asleep in my arms. They took us up to his room and we layed there with him for about an hour. Decide that we should probably get some sleep. The nurse said she would release us in the morning (it was 4 am by now). Lisa said...whats the morning? And she said.. when he wakes up and hes doing good. So we lay down and start to get setteled in. His alarm goes off and he wakes up. Nurse comes in and its the alarm saying his IV is empty. She unhooks it and says...well hes awake...do you wanna go home? I was like...heck yes!!! So to home we went!! Hes doing great. Theres really no recovery because there was no cutting. So now just lots of cuddles and Im fricken paranoid about anything on the floor!!! But other then that we are good. We got home at 6:30. and Jentry watched Ty while Chase and I slept a little. Scott is on his way home and has no idea any of this happened. Hes in for a suprise! :sgrin

Maybe Ill just wait to tell him until the bill shows up and be like...oh yeah...that... :lol

Yuba Take One...

My parents went to Yuba for the week. They also took Jentry and Brinley. I knew Brinley wouldnt last long...but Jentry, shes a die hard. I knew she wouldnt be coming home unless she absolutely had to. She ended up staying the whole week. That was a long time without her. I had to do everything myself and learned just how much she really does help out. She was VERY missed.

I do have to say that they took good care of her. She didnt even have a sunburn. Tho she is rubbed raw from the tube. I guess my constant reminder of sunscreen worked. :)

I decided that Id go down there on Tuesday. I knew Wednesday there was supposed to be a storm so Tuesday we should be ok, right? Wrong. It was sooooooooo windy that day. There was really nothing to do but sit on the shores. It was too windy to ride the boat. And well, wind is just not any fun. So we ended up leaving early.

My SIL Bethany came with me. She is very afraid of water. This was her first time out on a wave runner. While she was out there Brady was taking her around. She thought he was doing a good job. Therefore, she thought he had been doing this for awhile. Imagine her suprise when he said he'd been riding for only two days. That cut her trip short on the wave runner and she told him to take her back to shore. I was suprised she had even gotten on with him.

Chase loooved the water and the sand even more. Even tho it was a little cold, that didnt bother him one bit.

Kindergarten Baby.... not anymore....

Brinley graduated from Kindergarten this last Thursday. She was so excited. They did a little program with songs they had learned. Grandpa and Grandma were able to come down and see her! She wanted to be all dressed up and have her hair done pretty so we curled her all up.

Her teacher was Miss Mellor. She was such a fun teacher!! Brinley is already missing her

Cute Picture of her and Jentry

Afterwards Grandma and Grandpa took us out to Brinleys favorite restaraunt...SIZZLERS

I dont know how I feel about this. Kindergarten is such a fun age. They are so dang cute. Now shes a real school girl. Full days from here on out. Im going to miss her. Im going to miss just getting to have time with her in the morning to do homework. Now its going to have to be crammed in with Jentrys in the night. Theres not much time left before Ty will be in kindergarten and then BAM Chase will be the next year. And then what...

Memorial Day

We had a great day. Even tho it rained. Which, I guess, is fitting. So many people crying for their loved ones... the heavens should cry too. We went and visited the graves in the Provo Cemetary. We didnt make it to my cousins in American Fork. It did quit raining when we got there. So that was nice.

This is the kids by my Aunt Wanda's. I take a picture here every year and my have those kids grown. :-(

We stopped by Andrew Hunter Scott's grave. This is the ancestor that Jentry did the wax museum on. She wanted to see it.

Then we stopped by Scotts grandma and grandpa's grave. This is the first memorial day that we visited grandma. :-( Very sad. But we know she is so happy to be with grandpa again, to be able to walk and not to hurt anymore. So its alright. Tho I miss her terribly. I miss getting to go to Scotts parents and just sit there and talk to her. She had so many intresting stories. Im grateful that the last few months I was able to talk to her so much and get to learn so much about her. She was a pretty cool chick. I wish I would have gotten to know Grandpa Hendricksen. I hear he wasnt too shabby either!
