I married a Toyota man.
We have NEVER had anything else...
Well except for a Chevy Nova that he had before we got married and had at the beginning of our marriage...but all parts were made by Toyota. It was a Toyota car that Chevy bought and put their name on.....
Until today....
Scott worked for Toyota for a little over 5 years as a mechanic. Loved it. He did a great job there and always got teased for being the pickiest mechanic ever. Things that other mechanics would over look bugged him to death so he would always fix it to the best of his ability and rarely got any come backs. That says a lot, I think. So him being that picky, he expects a lot.
When we bought our '04 Camry there was a "Tires for Life" program. You get all of your maintenence done from them and they will pay for tires for life. There was a little discrempinsy (sp) in that because what the dealership says you need to do...is not always what you need to do. So we always just do what is in the Owners Manual. Thats what Toyota reccomends...the dealership is always going to try to get you to do more. Anyway...so awhile ago we started having a little problem of the car pulling left when you would let go of the steering wheel. It didnt pull hard...but it pulled a little. And if anything your car should pull right, with the crown of the road...so this BUGGED Scott to death. Normal people it wouldnt bug, but I swear it kept him up at nights. So he took it in. They said it was the Springs. Replaced the springs. Still pulled. But we didnt take it in for about a month. Brought it in they said the alignment was right...everything was right....so they would try the springs again. Replaced the springs AGAIN. Went to pick up the car and they had scratched the bumper. They had also scratched it on the back pillar. Mr. Perfectionist was PISSED!!! This took them a whole week. Do you know how hard it is to go without a car for a whole week? Luckily Scotts parents let him borrow the Tahoe...but what a gas guzzler! During the weekend we noticed a weird sound
So he took it in after the weekend.
They had overcompinsated on the spring hoping that it would help it stop pulling and they had moved the spring too far. So it was out of its...whatever its supposed to be in. So thats why it was making that weird sound. They said they would order new tires. IT HAD TO BE THE TIRES. So we waited....and waited. By the end of the week Scott got another call saying...it had to be the tires and WE had to buy them. Even tho we were on the tires for life. Whatever. Scott was pissed. They had treated him like crap. He heard from his best friend that works in parts about all the things they had said about him. RUDE!
So he got pissed enough that he went and looked at Honda's. My husband....looking at Hondas. Never did I think I would see the day. He always said that Honda was good cars...but...he was a Toyota man. 5 hours later we were driving off in a 2006 Honda Accord. Its fun to drive. A little bit smaller then the Camry. But Scott will drive it mostly. I usually drive the truck.
I have never seen anyone negotiate more on the price of a car. Scott has always helped his sisters buy cars and they always said.."If you need anyone to help you buy a car, pick Scott" Cause he can get them down. i had to keep walking out cause I kept laughing. He was negotiating on EVERYTHING! But we got a good deal.
Im excited. I'll have to post pics later.

Been a little while...
Havent updated in awhile. Been busy. Let see, what things have happened. Ty rolled over, from his back to his tummy 2 Sundays ago. He is now 4 months old. Holy cow, it goes so much faster when you arent pregnant.
Brinley is still a turd. She gives me a run for my money.
Jentry is almost done with SECOND grade! That blows my mind! She is getting so old. So big. Sniff sniff.
Adrian is doing ok. Not any better, not any worse. He has 2 infections and some kind of fungus on his liver. That kid has been through so much. I wish we could go see him. But Im not sure if Ty has a cold or allergies, and the last thing I wanna do is bring something to him.
Scott is starting to talk to his sister that he hasnt talked to in 6 years. Im excited. I hope everything goes good. Ive been waiting for this.
Well theres my updates for now.

~*~*~STICKER CHART~*~*~

Nope, we arent potty training. lol
I made Brinley a sticker chart today. If she does "hard" work for me she gets a sticker. If she throws a fit she gets one taken away. If she goes to time out, she gets two taken away. We just started this today...but so far, so good. She is more then willing to do anything I ask. Even does more then I ask. I told her to take some stuff up to Jentrys room today and she was finding other things she could take up too. I could get used to this. If she gets 20 stickers she gets to go somewhere fun. She wants to go swimming. But I told her swimming pools dont open for a little bit longer....but I guess we could go to the rec..never thought about that. She also wants to go to the library and to McDonalds Playland.
I wonder how long it will last...
Update on the sticker chart. Well she threw a fit and wouldnt stop so she got ALL three taken away. But got one back for being good at dinner.

Yesterday was a better day.
Brinley wasn't quite as tough (tho we only stayed home) I told her when she starts to feel mad just take a deep breath and maybe it would go away. The girl was hypervenalating all day. LOL Instead of just taking one breath she would breathe in and out in and out. LOL. Oh well, she didn't have any big fits. It was niiiiiiiiice! I'm hoping today is good too.

About at my wits end
With Brinley that is.
This kid....I dont even know...
she is soooooooo out of control sometimes, its rediculous. I keep telling myself its the age but seriously I have never met a more bratty kid. She has her good days where she is as sweet as pie...but then..she has her bad....
Take last night for instance. I got Scott the wrong shoes for his birthday so we went to the mall to take them back. All was fine. We were in the mall of a total of 10 minutes. AT THE MOST. Start to walk out and Brinley sees the escalator. She wants to go up them. I tell her no. She tells me yes. I tell her no. She tells me yes. We get about to the door and shes screaming and crying. Jentry hits the handicap button that opens the door and that sets Brinley off (she usually does this) she is screaming and crying at the top of her lungs. Im carrying her out over my shoulder she is screaming like Im kid napping her. I get her in the car after TRYING for 2 minutes by our car to talk some sense into her. She screams the WHOLE WAY HOME! At the top of her lungs. We get home and decide its "Time Out" time. I usually hold her in time out. She fights me and scratches me and tries to bite me. But I just calmly hold her and tell her I wish she could be a good girl. Scott says he thinks we should try to do the super nanny thing and put her in time out walk away... We used to do this but I got sick of going back and forth because she would NEVER stay in the time out spot. So I ended up just holding her in time out, setting the micorwave for 4 minutes. Seeing if she would apologize. If not 4 more minutes...so on and so forth.
So we try the walk away thing again. I put her in time out. Would walk 2 steps and she would be right behind me screaming. I would turn around, pick her up put her back in, try to walk away... this went on for at least 10 minutes. Now its Dads turn. He does it for 20 minutes. Then I do it. Theres sometimes Im thinking...ok its braking her...shes gonna figure out that this is for real and stop. 1 hour later. We are still doing the same thing. Shes screaming, she bit Scott, scratched him. Shes yelling JENTRY COME SAVE ME! I CANT GET OUT OF THESE ROBOTS ARMS! (this is what she says when we keep repeating things we do, or when Im holding her in time out) FINALLY, I get her to stay on the couch for her full 4 minutes. Telling her how proud I am of her that she did it. Now go tell Dad that shes sorry. SHE WONT DO IT! Tells me she doesnt know how to say Im sorry! Now what??? I tell her ok, here we go back again. Youre going in time out AGAIN! We do it AGAIN! Another 30 minutes later. FINALLY she does it. But I cant do that every single night. I dont know what to do with her. Just writing this Ive had to yell at her 3 times for being mean to Jentry. I dont know WHAT to do with her! Its not fair to Jentry. It puts us in a bad mood. Ty crys cause it scares him. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! :( Is this because of the new baby? Is it her age? Do I have any hope?? I didnt think I WOULD EVER EVER EVER SAY THIS, but it makes me not want to be around her. She freaks out at home. She freaks out in public. She is just naughty!! My mom said she would come get her last weekend. And I couldnt wait. I thought, if she backs down Im going to cry. I cant take her anymore. Ive NEVER liked the kids to leave. But I let them cause I know they have lots of fun. I miss them terribly while they are sleeping at my mom and dads house...but this weekend....I didnt. It was way too soon when my mom wanted to bring them home. I thought...already?? I dont know what to do. I feel like a rotten rotten mom for thinking these things. :-(

First real report
So Jentry had to do an animal report. She was to write out a rough draft and then I was to make corrections and then she was to write out a final draft. IF WE WANTED to we could put it on poster board and put a couple pics on it. Well we got excited I guess...ok me more excited then her...and did a 1.5 page report with pictures and cool starry back ground paper with her pictures. Oh yeah, the report we she did was on Raccoons. Im pretty proud of it. I'll have to take a picture of it when we get it back. I would have yesterday but Scott sent my camera away. THATS A WHOLE OTHER STORY!
Scotts Birthday is on Sunday!!!
He is going to be 28!! Holy crap. I remember when he was a young wipper snapper of 18. It doesnt seem like its been TEN years. *picking my jaw up off of the floor*
We are getting old!!!
When will I feel like an adult? Theres times I will tell the kids to do something and I think to myself "Who are you to tell them to do that, you arent much older then them!"
Holy crap, Im married...I have three kids, a house, a car...IM AN ADULT! No Im not No Im not No Im not! *stomping my foot* see, Im still a kid.

I hate when he makes me worry...
So Scott went four-wheeling with my dad and brother. Its snowing, its dark, and its TIME TO COME HOME! But I havent heard from him. My mom hasnt heard from them either. Im worried. Of course now all the bad things are running through my head. Them sitting out there freezing, waiting for help...and here I am...doing nothing. Who would I call? I dont even know. Crap, I hope he calls soon. Im going to beat him when he does.
How can you love someone SOOO much!
It amazes me. Somtimes I just get so overwhelmed with love I just dont know what to do!
I cant believe how much I can love Jentry, Brinley and Ty. I look at them and my heart swells so big it about busts out of my chest. How did I get so lucky to have the three most perfect kids in the world? They are so perfect. What did I do to get so lucky? Right now I feel like my life is so perfect. I have a great husband that calls me on the phone all the time just to tell me how much he loves me. We are healthy and happy. What more could I ask for? (a little more sleep??) I just hope I can show them how much they mean to me.

Brinley and her babies...
Brinley got a doctor table thing for Christmas for all of her babies. Since Christmas all of her babies have received their shots, casts, and every other little thing that that table has on it...but since Jentry went to the doc to get blood tests taken...now all of the babies are getting blood tests. LOL. Funny kid.
Things have been so much better with Jentry!!!
Im so glad. I was starting to wonder if we would be able to live in the same house with eachother for much longer. Shes been such a good sister to Ty. I think she's figured out that he's alright. Maybe it was because I was pregnant and maybe short on my temper. But I didnt know if I was going to survive both of our mood swings. I hope it stays this way.
Here is a Brinleyism
I was in the bathroom with the door locked. Oh the horror. I always have kids banging at the door while Im in the bathroom if I lock the door. Anyway, Brinley is banging on the door and I say "Who is it?" she says, "Its your child" I said "I dont have any children!" and she says "Yes you do, remember Im the one that got a Dora Jeep for Christmas and I have bunk beds in my room" Maybe it was a had to be there moment but I thought it was funny. I think its funny how she described herself.

Homework
Jentrys homework she brought home asked "What is the best thing that happened to you last year?"
she put "I had a new brother."
:-)
she put "I had a new brother."
:-)
The one thing I cant wait for Ty to do...
is smile.
I loooooooooove when babies smile.
All the rest of the growing up I can wait for. But I cant wait to see a real smile (none of this gassy stuff lol)

Maybe she does like him...
Last night Jentry heard the baby crying so she came in to my room and said "Mom, do you need any help, the baby sure is crying alot." I told her he was just hungry but maybe he wanted his sister to hold him. So after I fed him she held him. She told me to go to sleep and she would take care of him for the night. If only...
Today she has been extra nice to him and keeps coming in to look at him...so hopefully she is over the jealousy stage.

2 weeks ALREADY!!
Gosh it goes by so much faster when you arent pregnant!! I cant believe Ty turned TWO WEEKS yesterday!!!
Its been tough to get into a routine. Im still not in one. Spend most of the day in the bedroom with him...changing him, feeding him, holding him. Dont do much around the house. Our stuff from Christmas is still out...and I suspect it will be for awhile longer. Im thinking once Jentry goes back to school it will be time to get into a routine. Hard with the Holidays. Buuuuut I will get the hang of it. Hopefully!!
Ty had his 2 week appt on Friday. Hes only gained 2 oz since birth (but 6 since leaving the hospital) so they want me to come in on Wed. or Thursday just for a weight check. Which should be fun...getting him and Brinley ready to drive 20 minutes each way for a five minute weight check. But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
The minute the doc walked in for our appt he said "You have a yellow baby!" I said yep. I thought he looked less yellow then he did before...but doc wanted us to go get another billirubben test. So after he had to get his foot cut for the stupid PKU we had to go down to the hospital to get his OTHER foot pricked for a billirubben test. He didnt do so good on either tests...as in he FREAKED. He cried so hard his little body turned purple. I couldnt stand it! How can they be sooooooo mean to something sooooo little. I felt like I wanted to bite both nurses heads off. I know they need to do these tests but I couldnt stand that they were hurting my baby!!! I was so annoyed when that day was over. Felt so bad for the little guy. Anyway, doc called at 10:40 at night and said that they never called with his test results so he ended up calling them he said that his number was at a 14. Which is higher then it was before (12.9) but not critical. So if he gets any yellower then we need to bring him in again. ARG! He better not...cause I dont want to have to put him through that STUPID test again!!!
Anyway, off that rant. He is doing good otherwise. I dont think I will ever catch up on my sleep ever again...but thats ok. He doesnt like sleeping in his play pen. He will wake up about an hour after I put him in there...but if he sleeps next to mom hes good for about 5 hours in the night...sometimes. Which is fine with me. I like cuddeling with him. He loves to be held.
Jentry had a hard time liking him at first...and it was getting pretty annoying. People would say.."Do you like your brother?" and she would say "yeah....but he whines alot" Which he DOES NOT!! I think there was some serious jealousy going on there. And she liked the attention she got when she would say that she really didnt like him. I think it was also hard on her because she was sick for his first week and a half of life so I wouldnt let her go near him and she didnt get to hold him...so I think that was another reason she didnt really "like" him. But I think she is getting better about him. Hopefully.
Brinley on the other hand. LOVES her baby brother. Loves doing anything for him. And is a big help...but not tooo much of a help. She loves being a big sister!!!
Scott is also in love with him as is his mommy.
So thats his first two weeks of life...I wonder what the next two weeks hold for us.

Ty's Birthstory
This is just a copy and paste from the boards. Just wanted to save it here too
The doctor told us that we could go in on Saturday. He said the hospital would probably call but if they hadnt called by 7:30 am then to call them. I totally didnt expect them to call and thought for sure I would be calling them at 7:30. 5:56 a.m. they call and said they are ready for us. We had just been lying in bed and werent ready yet. Scott told them we would be there in 45 minutes. So we got up and took a shower and got ready to go. My sister had spent the night to be with the girls. I was getting my shoes on...well trying...it was hard...I thought to myself...I cannot wait to have this baby and be able to put my shoes on. Then I had to go to the toilet for one last puking session. That was another...I cant wait...moment. So we kissed the girls goodbye and off we went to the hospital. We left at about 7:00 whoops. But the hospital isnt very far away. We got there at about 7:15 am. We walked out of the elevator on the 5th floor and everything had changed from what I remembered it with Brinley. The hospital now has the labor and delivery and the mother/baby ward on lock down since last year when another different hospital had a lady try to steal a baby. Anyway, so I called on the phone that was right outside the door and told them I was there. They buzzed us in. It was all starting to sink in that this was the real deal now. So they brought us into our room and I got undressed and into my gown and layed down. The nurse came in and checked me. I was still a 3+ which I didnt expect to have changed anyway. So she hooked me up to the IV and then went to get the pitocin. Scott got bored. Hes easily bored if he isnt doing something so he bought Tetris on his phone and played it. I just layed there thinking about everything. She got the pit hooked up but didnt start it til about 9 am. They figured I was going to go fast. I was contracting on my own about 10-12 or so minutes apart before the pit. But they didnt hurt. Baby was doing fine... kicking like crazy. Kicking a little too much because all of the sudden they lost his h.b. She had me turning from side to side. The baby had done a complete flip from one side to the other & when she checked me again he was way way high. She could barely feel my cervix. Felt like she had her whole arm up there. Finally we got the h.b. But couldnt get my contractions to register. But I could tell I was having them. Still not too hurty. Then the doc came in and checked me. Said I was a 4 almost 5. And broke my water. Told me there was no turning back...well his exact words were... "we are commited now!" The nurse said.. there was lots of water...she said I probably lost two lbs right there. She asked if I wanted the epi. I told her no..it wasnt hurting that bad. She told me that it was probably going to go fast now that my water was broken...so I told her sure...go get the guy. AND THEN THE CONTRACTIONS STARTED. Oh my gosh, I thought I might die. I was so glad I had told her to go get him. He came in and gave me the epi. I waited & waited for it to work. I was having contrax like every 3 minutes. I went from a 5-7-10 in like 20 minutes. The 7-10 was within like 2 minutes. The epi man came in and gave me more. Finally it started working right in time to push! I pushed though I think like 4-5 contrax 3 pushes each contrx. During one of the rests between pushes I looked at Scott and said... "You are about to be a daddy of three. It freaked me out because I was about to be a mommy of three!!! I pushed a little bit more and out he came. He was born @ 12:49 p.m. 7 lbs 8 oz. 19 1/2 inches long (so were both girls). Soooo cute. He didnt even have much of a cone head. Just perfect. After they cleaned us up it was time to call the girls. Scott called them and told Jentry. He gave me the phone to tell Brinley. I went to tell her and started bawling and had to give Scott the phone. Which got Scott crying...but he is better about talking when he's crying

What I will and won't miss
About being pregnant
I won't miss waddeling like a penguin (in Jentry and Brinley's words)
I won't miss not being able to roll in bed and having to wake up everytime I want to move...then when I do move my bones popping.
I won't miss having to pee every five minutes during the day and every two hours during the night.
I won't miss the puking and the puking and the puking.
I won't miss feeling nauseated when Im not puking.
I won't miss peeing my pants all the time when I sneeze, cough, or puke.
I won't miss heartburn.
I won't miss having to share my body with another human being.
I will miss feeling this baby move
I will miss knowing that Im the only one holding it. And he depends on me for everything.
I will miss knowing that while he is in me...hes not really growing up. Once they come, they grow up way too fast.
I'll miss having an excuse to be fat, and to eat.
What I cant wait for is to see his face. To hold his tiny hands and feet. To see Scott with his first born son. I cant wait to see how the kids act towards him. Brinley getting to be a big sister. She's been waiting a long time she says. I cant wait to smell him. I cant wait to hear him. Even if hes crying. I cant wait to look at him and wonder how we made something so perfect. Even if he isnt "perfect" he will be to me. I cant wait to rock him. I just cant wait for him to be here...how much longer do I have to wait?
