Fishlake

I took the kids to Fishlake for a couple of days. My parents stayed about a week and a half so we went there for a few days. My Aunt and Uncle and cousins were there too. So it was fun to get to spend a little bit of time with them! The kids had a GREAT time playing in the dirt, fishing (and actually catching fish!!) four wheeling and just hanging out! We did get our fair share of mosquito bites but it was worth it! I have so many cute pictures that I just cant pick a few...so bare with me!!!

Swimming Lessons

Well the kids took their yearly swimming lessons this year. They loved it. As they always do. This was Chases first year and Jentry didn't want to take them this year. (Its a good thing she didn't...she wasn't home the whole two weeks we were doing them. Town bum!) They all jumped off the diving board at the end. When the girls were 4 and 5 they wanted life jackets to jump off the diving board. But not Ty and Chase. They just did it. I was so
proud. I love having little fishes!!!

Sleepin Over at Grandmas.

There isn't much to say in this post but I thought the pictures were cute. A few weeks ago the boys got to go sleep over at the cabin. (Scotts parents home). They loved it. Ty was packing his bags and asked me how long he was going to sleep over. I told him only for one night. He got this disgusted look on his face and said "How come no one wants me to sleep over for seven nights!!!"

This was them as they packed up to leave. So cute.

Growing up...

My boys are growing up.

This week they graduated to bunk beds!! They couldnt be more excited. I think everyone in town knows they have them. They have told people at the swimming pool, stores, neighbors...anyone that will listen.

We had moved their room to downstairs (computer room)a couple months ago to get ready for the big change. Their room upstairs was just too small for bunk beds. So that led to us doing a lot of house rearranging. And its still not done. I feel VERY cluttered but its slowly and I do mean SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWLY coming together. One day, I hope in the VERY NEAR future it will be done. But until then...Ill just continue to bite my lip whenever I look at the chaos.

Anyways, on to the beds... I had to take a picture of them on their little toddler beds. Ill miss our little dwarf beds... it always reminded me of Snow White when she goes into the 7 dwarfs room and sees the little beds. Scott actually had a harder time getting rid of the beds then I did.




But we are onto bigger and funner beds now!!!



We didnt even have a hard time deciding who got top because Chase said it was "completely freaky up there". We shall see how long that lasts.

120 miles...

That's how many miles Scott rode his bike for a Priests High Adventure activity that was held this last week. He has been slowly working up to this by doing 20-30 mile bike rides pretty much every Saturday. Which have led to his knees locking up. He didn't know for sure if he could do it...BUT HE DID! And I'm so stinking proud of him!!! I asked him if he was glad it was over...and he said not really!!! cRaZy boy!! They started here in Spanish Fork and ended somewhere near Loa. That's a long ride in a car let alone.. ON A BICYCLE!!!

This is whats going on at my house tonight...

These girls are trying to get in all of the sleepovers they can before Maddie and Shelbey move away. What a GREAT four years its been having them living near by! They have been like my 'other kids'. We have had almost weekly sleep overs and these girls have been so so fun. I cant say enough awesome things about them. And if I do...I might start to cry.

They are eating all of their favorite things tonight and trying to stay up all night.
They are calling it their "Constipation sensation that swept the nation" night. I think they might be RIGHT with all of this CHEESE!!!

My parents took the girls to Boondocks for a little girl time! They also got to sleep over for two nights without their brothers! Heaven!!! They had a great time!!! They even got Jentry to ride on the go-carts. Which I thought was IMPOSSIBLE!!! She has some weird fear about them. Hopefully she is over that now.

SNOW CONES!!!

4th of July....

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays... but its also a sad one. It marks the half way point of summer for me and that makes me cry a little tear. I don't want school to start!!!

This year we celebrated all weekend long! We went to my parents house for a BBQ and the Riverton Fireworks. They didn't disappoint. They always put on a great show and my kids absolutely love it.



On Monday we went to a neighborhood party in the street. It was super fun. Everyone who had fireworks brought them and we had a SPECTACULAR display! Rain and all. We have such great neighbors and I love love love getting together with them. We are very lucky to live in such a nice place!!

Cousin Camp 2011

We did our 2nd annual cousin camp in Heber this year. My cousins friend, Anita was nice enough to let us stay in their family cabin. It was a fun time. Tho we missed A LOT of our cousins. For the most part it was just us three...

The first night we went to the store and got all the goodies and stuff to make dinner. We were going to make chicken fajitas. We got up to pay and all that we had grabbed for the chicken fajitas were peppers and cheese. But don't you worry...we had all the candy. So we had to do a mad dash through the store to get the other ingredients for dinner. I guess you can see what was most important. I also saw a local there. Man they grow em good in Heber!!


The next...ahem...morning. We woke up early enough to get..lunch. We went to one of my favorite places in Park City (Squatters) and got some yummy yummy food!!!





Then off to get pedicures at an awesome spa they have there. Its located in some ritzy shop called...Walmart... Ever heard of it? Probably not. They supplied us with massage chairs and gossip magazines. What could be better then that? I can only think of.. a few things..




Melissa and Todd then came up and joined us for dinner and the Alpine Slide and Coaster. That never gets old.




There was lots of board game playing too! It was nice getting to go to bed and waking up whenever we pleased!!!




We hope to do it next year too!!!

Strawberry Days

Can't have summer without going to the Rodeo! It was so so so windy. I was dodging orange construction barrels flying across the freeway driving to PG. I thought for sure we were going to be stormed out. But lucky for us the wind subsided just about the same time the rodeo started. The kids loved the rodeo and for (I think) the third year in a row my brother participated in the cow milking portion of the rodeo. Its always fun seeing three men run after a cow trying to milk it. They didnt win it this year...but next year for sure...right??

Yuba 2011

Brinley has been looking forward to Yuba since last year. Seriously. For at least the last six months she has been counting it down on a calendar. She loves going to Yuba because its the only time she gets to see one of her best friends, Krista. So of course...

She gets sick the first day shes there.

And I know how bad she feels...because I gave it to her.

Poor thing. She was so sick she ended up coming home. She was so super bummed! But we were able to bring her back on Saturday where we went back for a little visit. Jentry stayed the whole time and had a great time!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for putting up with a sicky and ... Jentry.
