My Bro Got Himself Hitched

I cant believe it. My "little" brother...married.

Todd married Melissa on August 29 in Alpine, Utah.

Everything turned out awesome! Im so glad to have a new "sister" and a cute little neice and nephew!!! Our family has about doubled this last year!! I love it.

Ty's First Day of School

I cannot believe it...I have THREE in school. For so many years Ive been saying.. "When the boys are in school..." and now here we are... Ty is loving Kindergarten. He has a great teacher and he can't wait to go every day! He is super smart and is doing great!! His favorite part of school is... you guessed it, recess.

Chase has done REALLY well with Ty gone. I didn't think that would be the case. But he just does puzzles or plays and waits for Ty to come home.

Aw Man, I almost forgot...

Ty learned how to ride his bike without training wheels this summer. He thinks he is pretty hot stuff! He rides his bike home from school now and he is getting faster and faster at it.

First Day of School 2011

The girls are back at school...much to Brinleys dismay!!! Actually, it hasn't been as bad as she thought it would be and she is... dare I say...enjoying it? I don't know if I'd go that far...but she does set her clothes out every night and is up and at em every morning ready to go! (Lets hope that lasts at least a few weeks)

Jentry is now in 8th grade. That is hard for be to believe!! Shes getting so old. And I'm still 17 so I don't know how that is working!

..Brinley is in 4th grade this year. I remember 4th grade so clearly! (so does Scott...he had a huge crush on Mrs Ford...but don't tell him I told you so...)


They both had a great first day. But, they were both then sick for the 2nd day. Both with different illnesses. Brinley is over hers but Jentry is still trying to shake hers. So it hasn't been the greatest first week of school!!

Ty will start on Monday. He is so excited he can barely stand it!

Crash Derby

Ok I dont know what I was expecting going to a crash car derby...but I didnt expect THAT!! By "that" I mean...I dont think I expected them to actually crash into eachother! I have never been so tense in my life. I kept looking over at Scott mouthing..."OH MY GOSH!!!" and he would be doing the same thing. Everytime I looked back at him he was shaking his head in disbelief. LOL.

But, a fun time was had by all and maybe by next year the shock will have worn off and we will go again! I dont know if my heart can handle it tho.

I just couldnt believe how hard they were hitting eachother. 2 cars flipped over and one car started on fire.



I think all the kids enjoyed it. (Well, except for Brinley..she has a VERY sensitive nose and the smells were bugging her. But I think she got used to it) The boys loved the loud motors and by boys..I mean all three of my boys....

I have a cute new nephew that Im totally in love with!! Mandy and I got to be there when he was born and it was amazing! (Thanks Kym!) He is the cutest lil guy around.

Labor went perfect...well for me. I dont know how Kym felt about it. But she did look pretty good during it!

Contacts...

Jentry has been asking for contacts this year and we finally got her some. Only to discover that she couldn't get the little devils in! She tried and tried and tried...for hours. But was having no luck! So she just kind of gave up. Well, Maddie (her cousin) got some this year too and didn't have any trouble getting them in. I think that gave Jentry the "umph" she needed to try again! And she did it! She got them in! And she hasn't had too hard of a time since. Now she can do what she has ALWAYS wanted to do..

Orem Owlz Game

Dont know if its THAT blog worthy. But thought Id blog about it anyway...just so when the kids grow up they can think we actually did things with them. ;) We went to the Orem Owlz game. We arent big sports fans. Thats about it...

But it was fun to hang out with family...so it was worth it.

Oh and we did get Krispie Kreme donuts on the way home...so I guess it wasnt THAT bad. ;)

Jamies House...

I have a confession. I love love love my sister in laws!!! And I have a lot of sister in laws to love. Scott has SEVEN sisters and one brother that's married. So just from that side I have 8 sister in laws. And I love them all. To death.

Well, one of his sisters did something I don't know if I can forgive her for....

She moved.

I'm not ever gonna get over it.

We were able to go spend a weekend at their new house.. And now I can see WHY she moved. She got an awesome deal on a gorgeous house. We had SUCH a great time hanging out with them. Chase got to do what he LOVES to do... mow the lawn.
The boys got to go on a 4 wheeler ride to the Big P while the girls went shopping.


We got to play in the tree house!



I'm still bummed they moved...but it's now just a longer drive to their house... I guess. (that's what I keep telling myself...)

Fishlake

I took the kids to Fishlake for a couple of days. My parents stayed about a week and a half so we went there for a few days. My Aunt and Uncle and cousins were there too. So it was fun to get to spend a little bit of time with them! The kids had a GREAT time playing in the dirt, fishing (and actually catching fish!!) four wheeling and just hanging out! We did get our fair share of mosquito bites but it was worth it! I have so many cute pictures that I just cant pick a few...so bare with me!!!

Swimming Lessons

Well the kids took their yearly swimming lessons this year. They loved it. As they always do. This was Chases first year and Jentry didn't want to take them this year. (Its a good thing she didn't...she wasn't home the whole two weeks we were doing them. Town bum!) They all jumped off the diving board at the end. When the girls were 4 and 5 they wanted life jackets to jump off the diving board. But not Ty and Chase. They just did it. I was so
proud. I love having little fishes!!!

Sleepin Over at Grandmas.

There isn't much to say in this post but I thought the pictures were cute. A few weeks ago the boys got to go sleep over at the cabin. (Scotts parents home). They loved it. Ty was packing his bags and asked me how long he was going to sleep over. I told him only for one night. He got this disgusted look on his face and said "How come no one wants me to sleep over for seven nights!!!"

This was them as they packed up to leave. So cute.

Growing up...

My boys are growing up.

This week they graduated to bunk beds!! They couldnt be more excited. I think everyone in town knows they have them. They have told people at the swimming pool, stores, neighbors...anyone that will listen.

We had moved their room to downstairs (computer room)a couple months ago to get ready for the big change. Their room upstairs was just too small for bunk beds. So that led to us doing a lot of house rearranging. And its still not done. I feel VERY cluttered but its slowly and I do mean SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWLY coming together. One day, I hope in the VERY NEAR future it will be done. But until then...Ill just continue to bite my lip whenever I look at the chaos.

Anyways, on to the beds... I had to take a picture of them on their little toddler beds. Ill miss our little dwarf beds... it always reminded me of Snow White when she goes into the 7 dwarfs room and sees the little beds. Scott actually had a harder time getting rid of the beds then I did.




But we are onto bigger and funner beds now!!!



We didnt even have a hard time deciding who got top because Chase said it was "completely freaky up there". We shall see how long that lasts.
