Lagoon

We havent been to Lagoon for years and thought it might be fun to take the kids this year.  Luckily Whitley had a dance competition and we were able to get discount tickets.  Though, it is still a pretty penny to get into that place!!! We brought Lexi with us so Jentry would have someone to hang out with and I think they had a great time!  We all did.

There was actually a lot more there then there used to be and we didnt even get to it all.  It was a perfect day.  Not too hot or cold.

Kindergarten Graduation

I know, I know.  I am SO VERY behind on this.  I hope to get caught up in the next couple of days (might take me a week)

I can't believe My Ty has graduated from kindergarten.  He loved every second of it.  He is so smart and his teacher was constantly telling me so.  I loved going to Parent Teacher Conferences for him.  ;)  He loved his teacher (Mrs. Phelps) and he is hoping that he gets her in first grade.  Since she graduated Kindergarten, too. 

The Roundup...

Every year (for the last few years) my parents and family have gone out to help my uncle with the roundup.  This time around they vaccinated the cows, put ear tags in and branded them.  So we went out for the day to have a little fun.

Kindergarten Zoo Field Trip

Ty had his kindergarten field trip at the end of this school year.  He was so excited!!!  We went to the Hogle Zoo...and let me say...I was NOT impressed with the zoo.  Though, the kids really had a good time.  There just weren't very many animals.  No zebras, no bears, no lions.  Notta (We went to Lagoon a few weeks later and we saw more animals on their train ride then we saw at the zoo...pathetic)  But, I do love going on these kinds of field trips with the kids.  This was Ty's group.  He is the 2nd to the smallest in his class. 

 When we were walking around a guy came around with tiger skin that he let the kids feel.  That was pretty cool.

Ty started T-ball this year.  So far there has only been practices but he is loving it!  Games start next week.  I dont think there could be a cuter kid.

I dont know how to do this post justice. 

Lets just say the world lost a great man on April 15,2012.

My grandpa died peacefully at his home on Sunday afternoon.  Prayers were answered when I say he went peacefully.  Im so thankful for that. 

His funeral was perfect.  Short sweet and to the point.  I think every one that gave talks would have made him proud.  We will miss Grandpa!  We will miss his booming voice and his GREAT personality.  There will never be another like him... ok ok Im lying...his sons are JUST like him.  Thankfully. 

Easter Egg Dying/Easter

This is going to be picture heavy.  But who doesnt like looking at pictures? 
First lets start off with the egg dying!  We love hard boiled eggs in this family.  Theres ususally some in the fridge that the kids just snack on.  So its even funner (yes, thats a word) when we get to color our snacks! 

Saturday was the Hendricksen Family Easter party. The kids enjoyed a fun Easter egg hunt but sadly they didnt find the golden or silver egg. Better luck next year kiddos! (Oh yes, there was also a silver and gold egg for the adults too...better luck next year for us too!)
After there was a hoolahooping contest.  How come the hoolahoop is so easy when you are a kid...

Then the Easter Bunny came. He leaves a mess every year!!



The kids got new Easter clothes. Brinley thinks hers is too girly...but I think shes cuuuuute!
 

 We then went and had a MAJOR egg hunt at my Grandma's. The kids got LOTS of eggs! We had such a great time.
